Great fit and finish, high quality leather. I treat it with oakwood leather condition for water proofing , turn out with outstanding brown color on leather. Am ordering a second on for back up.

What is the width of the opening for the handle?
The opening for the handle is 3" across.
Would like to purchase this for a Collins Double Bit Homestead Axe at 3.2 lbs and 10 1/8 x 4 7/8". Will this fit this axe head?
This sheath will hold an double bit axe up to 10.5" from blade to blade and 5.25" blade length from toe to heel.
